Strict action to be initiated against TMOs for price hiking

Chairman Chief Minister’s Task Force &Administrator Food Stump Scheme, S.A. Hameed has said that strict action would be taken against the concerned Tehsil Municipal Officers for price hiking and un-hygienic conditions in “Sunday Bazaars”.

CM stated this while presiding over a meeting of Tehsil Municipal Officers, Administrators of Marketing Committees and Secretaries, here today.

S.A. Hameed said that TMO cannot be excused for poor arrangement at Sunday Bazaars. He said that complaints are being constantly received regarding overcharging, sale of substandard food items as well as un-hygienic conditions in Sunday Bazaars.

He said that TMO will have to work on war footing for the addressing such complaints. He directed TMOs that rates of vegetables and fruits should be displayed prominently in Sunday Bazars. He further directed that presence of staff of market committee should also be ensured.
