  1. Musarrat Ali Khan Says:

What do we mean when we say “MADRASSAS TO BE PROTECTED”.

Are we talking about the building of the Madrassa or the Sanctity of the Madrassa or are we talking about protecting, preserving and spreading the Knowledge being imparted their in.

    Surah Al Alaq —96
    Paragraph 4 and 5

He Who taught (the use of) the Pen
Taught man that which he knew not

    Commentary by ABDULLAH YUSUF ALI
The Arabic for “teach” and “knowledge” are from the same root. It is impossible to produce in a Translation to complete orchestral harmony of the words for “read,” “teach,” “pen” (which implies reading, writing, books, study, research), “knowledge” including science, self knowledge, spiritual understanding), and “proclaim,” an alternative meaning of the word for “to read.” This proclaiming or reading implies not only the duty of blazoning forth Allah’s message, as going with the prophetic office, but also the duty of promulgation and wide dissemination of the Truth by all who read and understand it. The comprehensive meaning of qara’ refers not only to a particular person and occasion but also gives a universal direction. And this kind of comprehensive meaning as we have seen, runs throughout the Qur’an – for those who will understand.

    We should however be careful..

    Surah Al Anam — 6
    Paragraph 159

As for those who divide their religion and breakup into sects, thou has no part in them in the least; their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.

    Surah Ali Imran — 3
    Paragraph 78

There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues; (as they read) so that you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say “This Is From Allah,” but it is not from Allah; it is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!

This is all I have to comment on the Madrassa
