This magazine is the best i have seen, it has many useful information, but this one picture might change everything. According to me it is not right, they should not have made the half naked image of the Prophet Adam. By the way this latest June issue has alot of useful information in it. The in-charge of the mosque, Maulana Abdul Aziz, in his Friday sermon said the owners and publishers of a local magazine had committed blasphemy of the first prophet of Allah Almighty — “Hazrat Adam and Amma Hawwa” — by publishing their half naked images in the latest issue of their monthly magazine, Octane.

I have seen this eddition…and I have really came to the conclusion what really happened. there is lot about karachi killing regarding which Pakistani army refusing to investigate..so they searched for something by which they can punish this editor…..so finally found out this picture…..I think if you search on the internet with this name Adam and Eve…….ther is lot of pictures with this theme…..and offcourse they do anything for that…..

I think this is very shameful for all humans that almost naked pictures of parents all human beings are published … these so called enlightened moderators are inviting the azaab from Allah … May Allah give them and their followers and their stupid supporters azaab. This stupid moderation will not be stared anymore …

the editor has apologized for publishing such pictures, it were ignored as they were AD, paid AD.
Paid ad are normally not checked by the editorial staff, but they come under the responsibility of editorial team, for which they have published apology advertisment in print and other media…

I haven’t seen the pictures, nor do I have any wish to see the pictures but poeple do have a right to be upset or offended if the pictures are inappropriate. My problem has to do with the way our people complain. It would make more sense and appeal to more folks if a stern dignified statement was put out speaking against it. I just can’t stand the hysterical comments we often make in the Muslim world when we are offended. As for the Lal Masjid people, I just wish the world community would ignore them. I think it’s all part of Musharraf’s game to stay in power. On some level he subtly supports them. He could shut down the Lal Masjid tomorrow for breaking any number of laws. After all the Lal Masjid people live in the state of Pakistan which is governed by a constitution and laws which apply to all citizens. If they want to take the law into their own hands they have to live with the consequences. I don’t want Pakistan to become like Afghanistsn where there is no rule of law, Musharraf lets the Lal Masjid people do as they will to scare the West, especially Europe and America. He means to say, “If not for me the dictator and my army, Pakistan would be in the hands of these illiterate crazies / Lal Masjid brigade type fundamentalists.” So far the West is buying it but I always tell my friends here that most Pakistanis don;t care for the likes of these fundamentalists and shouldn’t fall for the games of our Army rulers. I am waiting for a return to civilian rule- good or bad- so that we can start building insitutions again. An elected governemnt has the legitimacy and support of the people to deal with law breakers but a self imposed military leadership has no real authority, especially when the military generals broke the consitution to take over power in the first place. How can they understand rule of law and the consitution when they disrepected it to take over power?

well said, Mehmood, i totally agree with you…..musharaff is a dictator….he is ruining pakistan and has earned bad name for the whole nation…..how can he talk about law, as he himself broke the law when he took over sharif government….

To Pakistan my dear Muslims a person who brings Imman and a person who do not bring Imman can never be equal. And for the person who brings Imman it is necessary to follow the SUNNAT Tariqa to be an example for the person who never brought Imman.
Some people die in bed and some on the road, eventually everyone has to die.
To die good we must follow and spread the KALIMAH to everyone and to spread we have to follow it properly. This is our DUTY. How we will be able to face Our Beloved Prophet on the DAY of JUDGEMENT. Regarding the current issue of these pictures accept the apology of the publisher and forgive them and do not be Radical be exemplary for the one’s who do not Bring Imman because of our ULTRA RADICAL attitude, we are spoiling image of ISLAM right through the world.

all people says its very shamfull for musharaf but its also shameful for public. they deserve this thing as our people currupt in practicle life .they cant do any thing they are just pupets who have no sence to judge what is right and wrong. when they had lose they are crying for them and nothing to do for them who is alive. why they are not doing any thing for abdul aziz and other people. I PRAY TO ALLAH THAT HE WILL GUIDE THEM AND GAVE HIM COURAGE TO DO SOMETHING AGAINST THIS HUMELESS THING. just u do as possible for allah, who is true lover for all people. now all people can see is amarica good ? he just want to finish pakistan and he is successful in his plan.he will finish pakistan up 2009 to 2010.

We shouldn’t be calling for the death of Musharraf or anyone no matter how much of a clown he is. We should be calling for his removal and trial for crimes agaisnt the Pakistani people. The courts of Pakistan need to charge him with treason for breaking the laws of the land and breaking the consitution toi seize power. We should call for due process and justice against this illiterate dictator- not for anyone’s killing irrespective of whether they deserve it or not. The courts of our great land should decide the fate of criminals- not individual citizens.
