Ground Breaking Ceremony DHA Civil Works The ground breaking ceremony for laying of network in Phase – V was held on Monday, 4th December at DHA Lahore. The ceremony was performed by Brigadier Fazal Nawaz Khan Administrator DHA, and attended by Wateen CEO Mr. Tariq Malik, and other senior management from both Wateen Telecom and DHA. The services provided through the Phase V network will be the same as the Wateen-DHA triple play service project, which is scheduled for commercial launch in January 2007. This project will provide DHA residents access to a breadth and depth of 21st century telecommunication and media services through fiber optic and wireless WiMAX networks. Services provided will include innovative telephony calling plans for local, nationwide and international routes, video conferencing/video telephony, true broadband internet (both fixed and wireless), DVD quality TV viewing and VAS such as security & surveillance and interactive gaming.

hey is it ging to be only for the dha residents or for all the residents in lahore like in model town….and if no then has wateen got any plans for launching it there

no no you guys are wrong…. Wateen will launch in the whole of Pakistan….it is just that the residents of DHA will get first and then whole lahore will get it….But atleast everyone will get it.
